In time returning to aloneness
you find aloneness is only all-oneness ~
you remember, as though for the first time,
you could never be out of Love or apart from anyone ~
the Name given you, our Name, is not a name, after all
Our sense-of-self as separate arises from the social conditioning we undergo to adapt to this life experience. This becoming human does not have to be seen as a problem, however, when seen rightly. Yet, most persons do not understand that person, or personality, is an overlay of who we each are, clothed with humanness, and they do not see the sense of pervasive loneliness, as well as an innate wish for Home, arises as a witness to that nameless unity we come from and long to return to, and are.
To seek to fill the loneliness with something or someone, which is the habitual and normalized human way - a temporary emotional sedative -, will not work finally - so to fail at love or other endeavors, however noble, is essential to lead us Home. And there can arise from practice of intentional silence, a grace whereby we come to see how even loneliness has its rightful place. Then, feelings of separation and loneliness, as well as our futile attempts at finding ourselves through means that lead us more away from ourselves, is part of the gift of being human. And we discover we can come to live from a unity whereby feelings and thoughts of separation are consciously known in the immediacy of life as expression of Life - I accept my and your life completely, to return to our life, which is really only life, or Life.
The futile search leads us not back - as regressive religion and spirituality would lead us to think -, but through humanness to an horizonless embrace both before, within, and after humanness, already present and waiting for us.
We need Grace, for we in ourselves cannot give ourselves this, and this is saying the self that is the source of the sufferings of alienation cannot itself heal the alienation or the societal-conditioned, futile means to the gift and grace of contentment and fulfillment - finally, in contrast to what most of us have heard, there is no self-fulfillment except from attachment to the self-sense and the illusion that I am the self I think I am - after all, the self I say I am I was told I am, and many persons claim to progress by rejecting the self they were told they are and now claiming another self they think they are, for they fashioned it from some group or pieced together a so-called self-created self they now think they are. Rather, the self of my thinking is a rightful self only as seen in the manner that a ray of the Sun is the Sun. The Sun is Love, so we are Love, not a Love we can get, but is. The self cannot be Love in itself, so the self seeks Love in futility, until it falls forward - aided by disappointment at maintaining joy within the passing pleasures of self-fulfillment - into the Sun from which come, returns, and is.
Last, then, the purest intention is the expression of un-self-conscious Love, which means the expression of Love most consciously, but unitive in nature, so unregistered by the mind as to intent or action, as Being does not have to be anything and is purely being out of its own Being - Being not needing fulfillment, for Being is fulfilled already and, so, can give freely and fully. I am most who I am, or we are, when I am not trying to be anyone or anything, as I most purely love you when Loving flows one with action free of thought of love or loving.
All written here is nonsense to the mind; we are lived into it, by Something, or Someone, other than a self trying to understand anything. Only spirit enters through the Gate opened by Spirit. Be led, surrendering the self that surrenders, even surrendering all thought of surrendering, into the poetry of Truth, and let drop the effort to understand Grace, or you will never be captivated by Grace effortlessly giving Itself, regardless of how much you dally with It. Love is known by only Love, even as only Love is known by Love.
